”Disco” isn’t necessarily a dirty word to Casey, but he comments, “I was always so afraid of alienating myself from something I created. I just got a little upset when they called it `Disco’ in the 1970s, because it was R&B/Pop music. I just felt all these artists had struggled to make R&B a mainstream sound and they gave it a new name. That’s what always upset me.
