"It all ended that night at the Hammerstein Ballroom," says Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, as he pinpoints the moment his DJ-turned-rock-star career became just too much. "We did two nights at Christmas. Saturday night was great, but the Sunday night didn't really work. That was the night for the floating voters, the undecided, the people who thought it might be a band. It was just awful. There was some girl giving a bloke a blow job in one of the boxes. The cameramen started showing that on the big screen. All the dancing stopped and people were cheering. There was these girls showing their tits. Howard Stern was waving at everyone.
