Is the work of Massijs, Rubens, Ensor and Wouters really worthwhile? That you can establish for yourself in the permanent presentation of the Koninklijk Museum’s collection.

Would you like to compare Van der Weyden and Memling with Fouquet and da Messina, Rubens with his predecessors, contemporaries and imitators, Van Dyck with Frans Hals, or Modigliani with Delvaux?

The imposing museum building, a romantic temple of art, was built in the period 1884-1890. The Royal Museum is a scientific institution of the Flemish Community.
