Paul 'Trouble' Anderson

After a term with Tottenham FC Youth Squad, Paul Anderson decided to persue his second love, music. From the mid-seventies he has been instrumental in the London dance music scene. Crackers, Spat, Global Village, The Embassy, Electric Ballroom, The Lift. These are some of the clubs Paul helped make legendary. In the mid-eighties with his Trouble Funk sound system Paul brought his special blend of dance music to the warehouse scene, and, with his weekly radio show on the notorious pirate station Kiss, he brought his sound to the masses. Becoming hugely in demand in the late-eighties on the massive new house scene, playing at Sunrise, Back to the Future, Enter the Dragon to name but a few. Lending his remixing skills to Nomads "Devotion" UK No1, Junior Reids "One Blood" Jamaica No1 and remixes for Blaze, Pet Shop Boys, Soul II Soul and many more. As Kiss100 fm went legal in 1990 it was a natural choice for Paul to take over the Saturday night slot on the station, which has been running for the past six years as " Trouble's Original Mix Show." In demand on both the UK and global dance scene Paul still finds time to host his weekly dance party The Loft at Camden Lock, London, shows from luminaries such as Jean Carne, Joycelyn Brown, Michael Watford, Barbara Tucker, Arnold Jarvis, Joi Cardwell, Louie Vega, Gerideau, Kim English....... have been a feature over the years. Though compact and hot The Loft has become a legend in London's clubland..... just how many clubs can boast having Loleatta Holloway gettin' down on the dance floor ?

Paul also has a monthly residency at Angels of Love in Italy. Paul is back in the production seat with most recent work on Thelma Houston for Azuli and Byron Stingily for Manifesto. Refusing to be labeled as playing a specific musical genre Paul maintains that house is where you live and garage is where you park your car. After twenty four years on the decks Paul doesn't intend on hanging up his Technics for at least twenty more years.
