Then, what happened then was another twist of fate: this customer who liked Tee's music so much told Tee that he should contact Better Days. Bert, the lesbian deejay who was at Better Days (before her they played a juke box) did a real no-no with the boss' wife. The boss' wife had asked her to play a request, and Bert told her, No, I don't play requests.

Hey; Bert Lockett was the DJ at Better Days before T. That's the Bert he's talking about. She used to play at RoseLand at times and did a lot of mobile work. She tried to kill her self in th early 80's by jumping off the 59'th street bridge. I don't know where she is now.
