Gold Mind records was an American label headed by Norman Harris. It was active in the disco genre from 1977 until 1980.
Many of the early Gold Mind tracks, of which 'Hit 'n Run' is arguably the most memorable (see picture to your right), were mixed by DJ and sometime studio mixer Walter Gibbons.
These tracks date from the late seventies. A couple of years later, Shep Pettibone would revive Gold Mind tracks like 'Let No Man Put Asunder', 'Dr. Love', 'Love Sensation' for the early eighties dancefloor. These were released Salsoul and Larry Levan chose 'Double Cross', 'The Greatest Performance Of My Life' for his 'Larry Levan's Greatest Mixes Volume Two' (there never was an Volume One ;-(). ..'Love Thang' was Tee Scott's first ever mix
